Moët & Chandon
Sep, 2017

Next year is shaping up to be very exciting as Moët & Chandon has announced the appointment of Chef Jason Atherton as the Champagne House’s UK Brand Ambassador until 2019. Atherton, who gained his first Michelin star for Mayfair’s Pollen Street Social, will collaborate with Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez on creating an exciting series of exclusive consumer events – details to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Jason is the perfect fit for the Moët & Chandon family as both Jason and his iconic restaurants within the Social Group, share the qualities of innovation and excellence that are values of the Moët & Chandon Maison, making him a perfect ambassador.  Also, it’s a very exciting and unique position for us to be in as we combine the expertise and craftsmanship of a world-renowned chef with that of a world-renowned winemaker to create culinary experiences which we look forward to bringing to consumers throughout 2018.

Jason himself is a long-time admirer of the Moët & Chandon brand and shared his delight at working with the Maison during the recent launch of GV09. Whilst at the event Jason commented that; “the Moët Grand Vintage has such depth of flavour and each release is so different; I am having a lot of fun matching our menus with the different years and looking forward to our partnership - creating exciting events and developing new ways to showcase the fantastic Moët collection”.

The new Grand Vintage 2009 will be listed in a select few of Atherton's UK restaurants.
